About Kimberly
Kimberly Wong is a supply chain executive and analytical leader with more than 15 years of experience spanning demand and supply planning, Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), global brand supply chain management, logistics, marketplace operations, and program management. She currently serves as AVP of Demand Planning at L'Oréal, following progressive leadership positions within the organization, including Director of Demand Planning and Director of Global Brand Supply Chain. Prior to L'Oréal, she held supply chain leadership positions at Vans and Nike and began her career in engineering and program management within the clean technology sector. Her international experience and ability to operate effectively within complex, multicultural organizations have contributed to her success as a strategic and adaptable leader.
With an academic foundation in chemical engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara, Kimberly combines technical and analytical expertise with strong business and leadership capabilities. Her career has required her to navigate ambiguous, fast-paced, and constantly changing environments while developing solutions that balance strategic objectives with operational realities. Her areas of expertise include demand planning, supply chain strategy, S&OP, logistics, marketplace operations, analytical problem-solving, organizational transformation, and talent development. She has also completed manager training and teams transformation training as part of her continued leadership development.
Kimberly's leadership philosophy is rooted in kindness, trust, community, and self-awareness. She attributes much of her success to creating an environment where people can build trust and support one another, while recognizing the important role that mentors and strong teams play in professional development. Her accomplishments include consistently ranking within the top 5% in global leadership surveys at L'Oréal and promoting five team members over the past five years. Outside of her professional career, being a mother is her highest priority, while she enjoys cooking, exploring restaurants, traveling, music, and experiencing different cultures. She also leads a local Buy Nothing group, reflecting her interest in strengthening community connections through reuse and recycling.

I know my core is like you know in my core values I lead with kindness and I in that like create a sense of trust and community that then led me to having like incredible leaders and mentors and teams that then helped me become successful
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
If I could sum up all the different ones it's really knowing who you are and what drives you and what your strengths are and then leaning into that to get you to your goals or ambition
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Being a mom above everything else is my priority... love food... cooking trying out new restaurants... love to travel... lived in 4 different countries visited more than 20... love music
