About Kimler
Kim Dye has built a distinguished career in information technology spanning more than three decades. She began in project management at Williams Communications, where she implemented call center technology, before moving to Macy's Systems and Technology. There she spent a decade supporting systems used by store associates across the organization. Kim later transitioned to The Home Depot in a manager role, both with and without direct reports, where she primarily supports strategic initiatives for the cybersecurity organization to protect against external threats. A PMI member since earning her Project Management Professional certification in 2005, Kim holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science earned in 1986. She has mentored interns by introducing them to project management and has helped organizations establish and enhance project management governance. Outside of work, Kim has volunteered for many years with Habitat for Humanity through Home Depot build days and participated in community revitalization projects that assist veterans and elderly residents in underserved neighborhoods.
