Her Interview

Ten minutes with kindal

01What do you attribute your success to?

I worked very hard in my undergraduate, my college career. I graduated in 2 years, and then I got my MBA at a very young age, before most people graduate with their undergrad. I persevered as much as possible through college, and it is worth it now because now I'm just starting out much faster than most other people. My dad and my family have helped me get here.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would just tell them to trust the process, understand that entering your career is going to be hard, it can be hard to adjust to living in a career, working different hours, actually being in your career, but just trust the process. It's gonna be worth it in the end, even if the beginning of a job may be difficult, it'll get better. Take every opportunity, try and be as positive as you can, make the best out of it, and you'll be able to see why you were there.

03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

There are challenges when it comes to the commercial real estate market. Personally, I've found it's a challenging industry to get in because it's a lot of money in the industry, and specifically what I do is asking people to invest large portions of money, so it can be challenging. The best way to overcome it is really just learn how to make connections with people. I'm trying to help them instead of trying to get money out of them. I'm providing a service to these people, so I want to help them as much as possible. Overcome these challenges by just trying my best to keep up with my clients, communicate with them well, make good connections and relationships with them, and in turn, that'll build a network for myself.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

From other people, specifically, I value loyalty, integrity, people that I can trust, reliable people, and I also just value overall being a good person, being kind, and trying to always help people out as best as possible.
