Kiona Reynolds is a Mechanical Inspector at Amtrak OIG, bringing extensive expertise in locomotive and railroad car maintenance, repair, and mechanical inspection. With over 16 years of experience in the field, including 14 years as a diesel mechanic, she has built a reputation for precision, reliability, and a commitment to safety. Kiona combines hands-on technical skills with a strong understanding of operational standards, ensuring that all mechanical components meet rigorous performance and safety requirements.

A graduate of Kaplan University with a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Kiona blends her technical knowledge with a solid foundation in business principles, enhancing her ability to manage projects, streamline processes, and contribute strategically to her team. At CN, she played a key role in machining, assembly, inspection, and fabrication of locomotive components, demonstrating her proficiency with a wide range of machine tools, blueprints, and industry standards. She is also skilled in welding inspection, preventive maintenance, and quality control, reflecting her dedication to operational excellence.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Kiona has broken barriers as one of the first female mechanics in her industry. She actively pursues continuous learning, including a future Bachelor’s degree in Business Management (expected May 2027), certifications in culinary arts, Six Sigma Black Belt, and mechanical appreciation, as well as a CDL license.
