About Kira

Kira Daczko brings 16 years of experience in technical trades education to her work supporting students and industry partners. She most recently served as director, leading a team of 10 admissions representatives responsible for building relationships with high school educators, CTE programs, and organizations including Future Farmers of America, Hot Rodders of Tomorrow, and SEMA. In this role, her team conducted workshops, assessments, and outreach to help students explore career pathways in programs such as automotive, welding, CNC programming, energy, and diesel technology. Daczko started her journey by completing motorcycle technician training at UTI/Power Sport Institute, where she began working as a tour guide and advanced to roles in career services and field admissions. She has also led motorcycle expeditions in Spain and Croatia, gaining leadership experience that she applies to her professional development. Daczko is a member of the SEMA Business Women's Network and has collaborated with the TechForce Foundation on seminars to support technical trades education.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

If she is really driven to be in this industry, that she needs to work as hard as she possibly can on having every edge that she can. You know, being engaged in the industry, so owning your place in this business means that you engage in the different organizations that there are, you volunteer your time, you get involved and you network, and that's gonna give you the edge.
