Her Story
About Klaudia
I have been in the field of health and longevity journalism for over 13 years, covering the latest trends and scientific discoveries when it comes to living a long and healthy life. I work across broadcast platforms as well as digital and print. It's been rather eye-opening because I get to talk to researchers and scientists at the cutting edge of what it takes to be healthy. My most notable professional achievement was when I lived in Los Angeles and served as the Los Angeles correspondent for a national television news network in Europe, reporting on American public affairs and American politics, literally on national television and reporting live from California. As a journalist, I really wanted to help people understand and optimize their health one story at a time, and journalism has just been a wonderful platform for me to be able to do that. I have always really enjoyed storytelling and really hearing other people's stories and being able to communicate it to others. Personally, I have been fascinated after moving to the States about the health issues that are present here, and just really the lack of curiosity and interest in the average person's life about optimizing and really living a healthy life, and I've come to learn that it's not that difficult.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would say to be open, to adapt and pivot, and really develop several different skills within the industry to be able to use and wear different hats throughout the career, because the field of journalism constantly evolves, and you're only going to be able to master it and be successful in it if you have the skills to change course, adapt, learn new skills, and be confident on your feet, no matter what the story may be.
02What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
I think it would be AI. It's a fantastic tool, but I think people will have to understand that you will not become a good journalist if you purely rely on AI, because a lot of the magazines and publications now recognize and test and check for it. You really need to understand that you cannot become a successful journalist if you really just rely on prompting in an article, because it won't be great. The challenge is really trust, because people will always trust humans more than a machine, I would hope so. So it's really keeping that trust and human element within the industry, I think, will be very important.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
At the top would be integrity. That's one of my most important values, along with loyalty and curiosity, which would be the top three.
