About Konstantina
Konstantina Sotiroglou serves as Executive Quality Director and Regulatory Affairs at Indiana Botanic Gardens, also known as Botanic Choice, in Crown Point, Indiana. In this role, she formulates cosmetics, over-the-counter products, and dietary supplements while ensuring regulatory compliance and product safety for customers. She brings 25 years of experience in pharmaceutical cosmetics, including prior work in the food industry at Mullen's Food Products, a supplier to McDonald's, where she gained expertise in quality systems, and helping to build the chemistry department at Dan Levy Laboratories. Konstantina is a chemist with an engineering background and holds a Master's of Science degree. She previously taught physics at Purdue University and worked in various laboratory roles, including at Fermilab. She attributes her professional success to hard work, passion for chemical engineering, and personal sacrifice. Konstantina also founded her own company, Diosco, focused on green chemistry cosmetics inspired by ancient Greek philosophy from figures such as Theophrastos, Hippocrates, and Cleopatra.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to hard work and passion. It was something that I always wanted to do. I always wanted to be a chemical engineer. Without hard work you cannot do nothing. You have to sacrifice some things in order to achieve.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Educate themselves very well and stay strong in their position. Be strong and move always forward. We can accomplish so many things because we are mothers, wives, scientists, we have multiple roles.

Integrity and honesty are my core values.
