01What do you attribute your success to?
If I am being honest, I do not always see myself as successful. It is hard to feel that way when some career and life goals are still unfolding, and when earning my doctorate came with the unexpected loss of my position.
But when I look back at my educational journey and my career history, what defines my journey is not the setbacks but my resilience. Through every detour, pivot, and challenge, I have remained resilient. I believe setbacks are setups for greater comebacks, and my persistence, adaptability, and faith in growth continue to carry me forward.
02What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Authenticity is at the core of who I am. I believe in showing up as the same person in every space- professional or personal, so that no one encounters a stranger when those worlds intersect.
I also believe that where you are is not who you are, and that responsibility extends beyond a job description. When we share a mission, we share accountability. Sometimes that means rolling up your sleeves and doing what needs to be done for the greater good.
