Her Story
About Kratika
Kratika Jain, She/Her, is a healthcare management and compliance professional based in Orlando, Florida, with a career spanning nearly two decades across clinical practice, healthcare administration, and quality assurance. She began her healthcare journey in 2005 and completed her Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy in 2010, building a strong clinical foundation through hands-on patient care and early work in India, where she organized healthcare camps and community outreach initiatives that focused on access and coordination of care.
Following her clinical experience, Kratika pursued a Master of Business Administration in Health and Hospital Management to strengthen her leadership, operational, and organizational skills. This academic transition supported her move into healthcare administration and compliance, where she has worked extensively in audit and performance improvement roles for over eight years. After relocating to the United States, she served in Indiana in an on-site capacity before continuing her work remotely for approximately six years across California and Florida, contributing to documentation audits, regulatory compliance, and system improvements. She further advanced her expertise by earning a Healthcare Compliance certification from Drexel University in 2019, reinforcing her commitment to maintaining high standards of healthcare governance and ethical practice.
In 2022, Kratika expanded her professional journey by pursuing her lifelong passion for fashion and modeling, beginning with the Mrs. India Worldwide pageant. She has since walked in major international fashion events, including London Fashion Week, New York Fashion Week, Paris Fashion Week, and attended the Cannes Film Festival in 2024 alongside her designer. Her Cannes experience marked a significant milestone, where she participated in 24 media interviews and received widespread publication in Indian media. While she has received opportunities in film, television, and advertising, she continues to balance her creative pursuits with her role as a mother of two. Kratika plans to return to healthcare auditing in August while continuing to grow her presence in the fashion industry on a part-time basis.

Ten minutes with Kratika
01What do you attribute your success to?
I would say it's all about the time and opportunities, and the life balance you have. Whatever I have achieved so far, it's about the time - maybe the time was right, I got it, and the opportunities I had, I got the time and I got hold of it. I would say it would be my inner strength and the time, and good luck. When I was a kid, my parents were a little scared and never so much open to send me in that field, but life will take on whatever you get, and I just got the hold of the opportunities I got this time.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
I never considered other people to give me career advice, because I don't know what they are into and if they are doing the right thing or not. But for me, what I feel is that if we do whatever we like or we are passionate about, then we can go miles and miles in it. If I had been into this passion career of modeling, acting and singing since childhood with that kind of support, I am sure I would have been doing awesome in it. Whatever we want to do in life, we should do that if we are passionate about something - not just to adjust with our careers. I know the money makes a difference, but we should not compromise on anything. If we don't like anything, we shouldn't do it. Whatever we like, we should go ahead in that as a career, so that we can go ahead in it.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would say young women, first thing, we should focus on ourselves. We are the priority. We cannot compromise our dreams, our passion, our self-respect for anyone. If there's something as a young woman they want to do, they should go for it and bring it in a respectful manner, in a disciplined manner. We should go ahead and pursue whatever we want in our careers, as a passion, as a hobby, because life is short to live. It's just one life I see now. I don't see past, I don't see future, but I see what is there now, and we should enjoy this moment and explore how much we want and whatever we want to do in this life.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
In healthcare, I was completely fine and never faced any kind of challenges - everything was smooth with all my parental support and family support. The biggest challenge of being married is what else can you do to make your career enhance when it's a family. I got divorced from my first marriage in India because of family abuse - I was being abused emotionally, mentally, and physically, and I got somehow out of it within a year. The biggest challenge being into the Indian community is getting married again at that time was a big thing. Growing mentally and taking those traumas off your mind is a very, very big thing. Going through so much of these things, you lose your confidence, and it takes a lot of time and effort to bring that confidence back and speak up for yourself. Being from that back part and then bringing up all my hobbies in front and getting in front of media and speaking, it's a big thing for me.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
For me, being truthful, a disciplined person, and being polite are the three most important things. If I make friends, I feel like that friend should be truthful to me. Being disciplined and respectful to each other in any relationship is essential - even if it's in a family, with husband and wife, with the kids, even the kids, in the friends, everything. Discipline is the most important thing. If there is no discipline in life, we cannot pursue anything in a very accurate manner. For me, I'm a morning person - doing yogas, meditation, that is the first thing in the morning. Whatever happens, I need some time for myself. I cannot start my day without that. So that's a discipline in my life, and I have seen my mom doing it all their life, so we learn from our parents.
