Krezia Anne Savella, MA is the Lead, Service and Experience Designer at Pixel Health, where she leverages human-centered design, service design, UX research, and systems thinking to create meaningful healthcare experiences. With nearly a decade of experience enhancing services, processes, and products, she specializes in designing patient- and provider-centric solutions that improve outcomes and streamline healthcare delivery. Known for her ability to visualize complex systems and guide stakeholders through both current and future states, Krezia combines creativity, strategy, and empathy to tackle challenging healthcare problems.
She holds a Master of Arts in Design in Health from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from UC San Diego. Her expertise spans service and experience design, project management, operations, and data-driven research, allowing her to translate insights into actionable solutions. Krezia is recognized for energizing teams and fostering collaboration, ensuring that every design intervention is practical, impactful, and aligned with real-world healthcare needs.
Throughout her career, Krezia has contributed to projects such as standardizing hospital patient journeys, integrating virtual care and nurse workflows, and developing immersive VR experiences to preview healthcare facilities. What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is to find a mentor and build a strong professional network. Having guidance from someone experienced not only accelerates growth but also opens doors to opportunities you might not discover on your own.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would advise young women entering my industry to be authentic and bring their unique experiences to their work. It’s important to build a strong support system, seek mentors both inside and outside the workplace, and approach networking as a practical tool for learning, growth, and advancing your career.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are connection, community, and variety. I prioritize building meaningful relationships, contributing to the communities I’m part of, and embracing diverse experiences that enrich both my personal and professional journey.
