She has provided consulting on cybersecurity and cloud storage for the Capitol, emphasizing clear communication of technical concepts. Kristen is a member of the High Tech Internet Crimes Association (HTCIA) and balances her consulting work with property management while planning to expand to full-time operations and build a team.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would say try and embrace any of the discomfort and do things out of your comfort zone just to help with growth. Don't be afraid to use your voice. I'm partially borrowing from another expert that's a favorite in the field but I've been really fortunate where a lot of people have given me some really great advice that's resonated with me.
