Her Story

About Kristen

Kristen Taylor is an operations leader whose career reflects a rare blend of corporate discipline and holistic, people-centered growth. She began her professional journey in 2007 on the production line at Tervis, steadily advancing into leadership roles as a team lead and later a supply chain analyst, where she spent over a decade honing her expertise in inventory management, process improvement, and multi-site coordination. Along the way, she led teams of up to 80 employees across multiple shifts, applied lean manufacturing principles such as Kaizen and 5S, and played a key role in transforming an operation from 79 employees supporting three departments down to 24 employees successfully running four. Her career later expanded into operations management and scheduling at Schlabach Security & Sound, and most recently into a supply chain analyst role at Quality Enclosures, Inc., further reinforcing her reputation as someone who can bring structure, efficiency, and clarity to complex organizations.

In parallel with her corporate achievements, Taylor has cultivated a deep commitment to holistic wellness and personal transformation. Her approach to growth extends beyond formal education, drawing instead from lived experience, spiritual exploration, and healing work such as Reiki. A recent trip to England exposed her to experimental art and additional spiritual practices, further shaping her understanding of energy, frequency, and authentic living. She has also given her time to volunteering at several churches, reflecting a life guided as much by service and spirituality as by professional achievement. These experiences have positioned her at a compelling intersection between operational expertise and personal transformation coaching.

Now relocating to the Sedona/Cottonwood area of Arizona, Taylor is entering a new chapter that merges her operational background with her passion for wellness, coaching, and mission-driven work. She defines success not by traditional markers, but by continuous growth and authenticity, crediting her ability to stay present, practice detachment, and treat every experience as valuable information. Guided by the principles of full accountability and daily incremental improvement, she hopes to bring her organizational strengths to hospitality, retreat, and wellness-focused organizations, while continuing to mentor others—particularly young women—to trust their own value, release limiting beliefs, and pursue paths aligned with their authentic selves.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Kristen

01What do you attribute your success to?

Being present, practicing detachment, and interpreting experiences as information have been foundational to my success.

Detachment creates the space to see experiences from a higher perspective, understand what they are revealing, and choose how to move forward with intention.

Success, to me, is continuous growth and embodying the most authentic version of myself. Every experience offers an opportunity to adapt, grow, raise my frequency, and step deeper into that authenticity.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The two philosophies that have influenced me most are 100% accountability with 0% excuses, and getting 1% better every day.

Taking accountability for my choices, actions, boundaries, attention, responses, and to recognize where I have the ability to influence my reality.

Committing to getting 1% better each day has taught me to stay present, recognize the opportunities in front of me, and make one better choice at a time. Small choices lead to significant change over time.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I encourage women to stay true to who they are, enjoy the journey, and choose a path that genuinely makes them happy, while recognizing the unique value they bring to the table.

For those pursuing entrepreneurship specifically, I encourage them to keep growing and healing, stay open to the opportunities around them, and release any limiting beliefs that may be holding them back.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

I see a huge opportunity to create environments where personal growth, self-awareness, authenticity, and well-being can become part of how we develop people and organizations.

As people become more aligned with who they are and intentional about what they’re creating, it influences how they show up in their careers, relationships, and communities.

For me, that’s where operations, leadership, personal transformation, and holistic wellness come together—where the growth of people and organizations support one another.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Honesty, integrity, and accountability. Honesty starts with ourselves. Integrity is aligning our actions with what we believe. Accountability is owning our choices, boundaries, and participation in our lives, careers, and relationships.

We can’t control others or everything around us, but we can take responsibility for the way we show up and what we continue to participate in.
