Her Interview

Ten minutes with Kristen

01What do you attribute your success to?

Being a teen mom made me realize at a young age that I have to provide for someone else and do everything wholeheartedly because someone's watching. I have 4 daughters so it's not just one person anymore, it's four girls watching me be successful. I have to show them that us women can do it too and be a positive influence that us women often need.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

My mentor told me to pray about it and the answers will come. Sometimes I find myself in a hard situation or struggling and I'll pray about it and sometimes it all works out the way it's supposed to.
