Her Interview

Ten minutes with Kristi

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to a combination of determination, curiosity, and a commitment to continuous growth. I've always believed that meaningful progress comes from setting clear goals, staying adaptable, and following through with consistent action.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Stay curious. The moment you think you know everything is the moment you stop growing. Continual learning has been one of the greatest contributors to my career.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Stay curious, embrace opportunities that stretch you, and focus on adding value wherever you are. Build relationships, ask thoughtful questions, and never stop learning. Your expertise will grow over time, but your willingness to learn, collaborate, and solve problems is what will truly set you apart.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest opportunities in healthcare technology is ensuring that innovation translates into meaningful adoption. New solutions are being introduced at an incredible pace, but their success ultimately depends on how confidently end users can integrate them into their daily workflows. That places Learning & Development in a uniquely strategic position. Rather than simply delivering training, today's learning professionals are responsible for creating engaging, effective education that drives adoption, improves performance, and helps organizations realize the full value of their technology investments. As AI and digital learning continue to evolve, the challenge (and the opportunity) is to leverage these advancements while keeping the learner's experience at the center.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

I value integrity, intentionality, and lifelong learning. I believe success is built through consistent effort, treating people with kindness and respect, and always looking for opportunities to grow. Personally and professionally, I'm driven by the desire to make a positive impact, whether that's helping someone develop a new skill, overcome a challenge, or gain the confidence to reach their goals.
