Kristi Hack, MSRC, RRT, is a dedicated respiratory care professional and Program Director at the College of Central Florida, where she leads and inspires the next generation of respiratory therapists. With a strong clinical background, Kristi began her career as a Registered Respiratory Therapist at Banner Health, gaining hands-on experience in patient care, respiratory disease management, and patient safety. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Care Therapy from Boise State University, where she developed a deep appreciation for the value of higher education in advancing the profession.

Before becoming Program Director, Kristi served as the Clinical Coordinator and Director of Clinical Education, overseeing clinical placements and supporting students in bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world patient care. Her leadership emphasizes excellence, mentorship, and advocacy, ensuring students are well-prepared for the challenges and responsibilities of a dynamic healthcare environment. Kristi is committed to fostering a culture of learning, safety, and professionalism within the respiratory care community.

Beyond her administrative and clinical roles, Kristi is passionate about elevating the field of respiratory therapy through education, research, and community engagement. I attribute my success to a combination of hard work, determination, and the unwavering support of my family. These pillars have guided me through challenges, motivated me to achieve my goals, and provided the foundation I needed to grow both personally and professionally.

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are leadership, collaboration, and community engagement. Outside of my professional career, I co-own the Collegiate Summer Casper Spuds baseball team with my husband, where we focus on creating opportunities, building strong partnerships, and providing valuable experiences for players and sponsors alike. This endeavor reflects my commitment to teamwork, mentorship, and making a positive impact both on and off the field.
