Kristi Huber
Kristi Huber, MBA, ACC is an executive coach, leadership strategist, and founder of Perspective Shift Consulting, where she partners with organizations and senior leaders navigating high-stakes inflection points. Based in the Fargo-Moorhead region, she works with clients across the country to address moments when clarity, culture, and performance begin to drift. Drawing on her signature “Radical Clarity” framework, Kristi helps leaders realign with their values, strengthen decision-making, and transform leadership transitions into opportunities for sustainable growth and momentum.
Her work is deeply informed by nearly two decades of executive leadership experience spanning both nonprofit and corporate sectors. Prior to launching her consulting practice, Kristi served as Chief Marketing Officer at Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota, where she led marketing, sales, and customer experience strategy. She also spent five years as CEO of United Way of Cass-Clay, where she guided transformative community initiatives, built high-performing teams, and strengthened organizational impact. Throughout her career, she has been recognized for her ability to connect strategy with purpose while fostering cultures rooted in alignment, accountability, and trust.
Kristi’s approach to leadership development is both practical and personal, shaped by her own experience navigating the quiet but critical moment when outward success no longer aligns with internal clarity. As an ICF-certified executive coach and keynote speaker, she focuses on helping leaders recognize and address “leadership drift”—the gradual loss of alignment that can impact performance and well-being. Through coaching, speaking, and her writing, including her “Onward & Upward” newsletter, she equips leaders to pause, reflect, and lead with intention, ultimately creating stronger teams and more resilient organizations.

What do you attribute your success to?
I truly believe the one that I'm in right now is the best, because it's most aligned with my personal purpose and mission. We created a framework to help individuals get realigned, especially when they're feeling burnout. That is my Radical Clarity framework, and I have the Radical Clarity Compass, and that actually has been really influential, and that's what I speak about. We just know that right now, there are so many executives that are feeling burnout, more than ever. And what the data is telling us is that impacts their overall teams. So it is just this trickle-down effect, and I feel like my mission and purpose is to really help these executives. Because in that I feel like it's a multiplier to help teams and companies. All of those things together, my experience in business, really, truly, I think, is what has culminated to this point in how I can truly serve companies in a really impactful way.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would say, get radically clear on 4 areas. This is what I talk about in my keynote. Get radically clear in the vision that you have for your career. Get radically clear in the voice, in how you want to show up on a daily basis. Make sure that you are aligned with your values, so that you know that the yeses that you are making are your best yeses. Because when we make a decision and if it's not aligned with our values, that is a potential area for leadership drift. Also, your vitality, and protecting your vitality or your energy. Making sure that you're aligned in that area as well. Because, again, energy is crucial in order for you to show up in your best, most authentic way.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
A major challenge in my field right now is the rise of executive burnout, which often leads to leadership drift and misalignment across teams. The opportunity lies in helping leaders regain radical clarity, enabling stronger decision-making, healthier cultures, and improved organizational performance.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me are staying aligned with purpose and core values, protecting my energy and vitality, and giving back to the community in meaningful ways.
