My journey in healthcare began early, deeply influenced by my mother’s career as a nurse and our family’s dedication to the field. Over the past 22 years, I have turned that early inspiration into a rewarding career, spending the last 18 years growing with Vanderbilt Health. I focus on building efficient administrative structures that empower healthcare teams to succeed.

01What do you attribute your success to?
Driven by a commitment to supportive leadership, I focus on empowering my team rather than micromanaging them. I utilize lessons learned from a wide range of management styles to cultivate high-trust, active support, ensuring team members have the tools needed to succeed.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best advice is knowing your worth, that you are capable of doing what you set out to do, and that you are strong enough to achieve it.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Healthcare is a great industry that will always be here. It takes heart and compassion whether you're frontline or behind the scenes. Find mentors to guide you throughout your career by scaling your mentorship as you scale your goals, to become stronger and more resilient.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Opportunities include ample growth within the same organization without needing to switch companies. Challenges include financial and budget issues, difficulty hiring staff, and the ever-changing nature of the industry requiring adaptability.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
In work, being an equal partner and mentor rather than just a manager who tells people what to do. I love helping people accomplish their goals and climb the ladder. Personally, I want my children to know they can accomplish what they set out to do with support and guidance.
