Kristie Edwards

A seasoned education leader with over two decades of experience in K–12 education, currently serving as Principal within the District of Columbia Public Schools. Their career spans roles from Special Education Teacher to Assistant Principal, Instructional Coach, and Mentor, with a strong record of improving student achievement, staff development, and school-wide instructional practices. They hold a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Organizational Innovation from Marymount University and a Master’s in School Administration and Supervision from the University of Phoenix. Committed to fostering inclusive and high-performing learning environments, they also actively support professional growth and diversity initiatives.
