Kristie L. Harris

I started at Florida State University in the Controller's Office responsible for financial statement preparation and advising on bank relationships and debt management. Then I worked as budget director for the State University System of Florida for 13 years, assisting 12 state universities with financial direction and working with the legislature and governor's office on allocations. I also worked at New College of Florida, University of Central Florida, and Lake-Sumter State College in roles like Associate Vice President of Financial Affairs and Assistant Vice President of Human Resources. Now at Piedmont University as Vice President of Administration and Finance and CFO, overseeing budget, accounting, institutional research, student financial aid, and student accounts. My greatest accomplishments include building the strategic plan and bringing IT services in-house.
