Her Interview
Ten minutes with Kristin
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to being willing to learn, embrace uncertainty, and take calculated risks, even when the outcome is unknown. I believe that growth comes from being willing to make mistakes, learn from them, and continue moving forward with confidence. Throughout my career, I have challenged myself to step outside my comfort zone and trust my instincts while remaining open to continuous improvement. I am also incredibly grateful for the encouragement and support of my community, whose belief in me has given me the confidence to pursue new opportunities and build my own business.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I have received is to protect my creative freedom and continue pursuing work with curiosity, creativity, and passion. That mindset has encouraged me to embrace opportunities that allow me to innovate, learn, and grow while staying true to my values. It has also inspired me to help personal brands navigate social media with confidence by providing strategic guidance that supports their growth. I believe that when creativity is paired with purpose, it can make a meaningful and lasting impact.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice is to stay curious, invest in your skills, and focus on building genuine relationships rather than chasing quick success. I believe that community is the foundation of long-term growth, and meaningful connections will always be more valuable than short-lived trends. As I continue expanding my Content Playbook courses and creating impactful social media strategies, I hope to eventually host conferences where I can share practical insights and help others grow. My goal is to become a thought leader who empowers the next generation by demonstrating how authenticity, continuous learning, and strong communities can create lasting success.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in social media marketing is cutting through the overwhelming amount of noise and misinformation that suggests anyone can achieve instant success online. I believe there is a tremendous opportunity to shift the conversation back to building strong foundations rooted in authenticity, meaningful audience engagement, and genuine community. Rather than chasing viral moments, I encourage individuals and businesses to focus on creating content that reflects who they truly are and builds long-term trust. Sustainable success comes from consistently serving your audience with value, not from shortcuts or trends alone.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Honesty, transparency, and authenticity guide everything I do, both personally and professionally. I believe meaningful relationships and successful brands are built by showing up as your true self rather than trying to manipulate perceptions or chase unrealistic expectations. My goal is always to help people create genuine connections through open communication and trust. By leading with authenticity and putting community first, I believe it is possible to build relationships and businesses that have lasting impact.
