I've been in marketing for roughly 12 years and have an extensive background in the field across multiple organizations and companies. I am United Crown of America’s Mrs. North Carolina, a title I received in February of 2026. Through my platform Hope Through Help, I advocate for mental health awareness and resources as well as reducing the stigma altogether. This work stems from my own experience- having gone through loss, abuse, living out of my car, and more. I felt alone and without hope. Now, I work hard to ensure that no one feels alone or without hope. In an effort to help as many as possible, I wrote the book 'Nuggets,' which aims to show comfort to those going through tough life experiences of multiple varieties.

Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I would probably say grit. That's the biggest part, I think. My dad definitely instilled the need for grit. He himself went through a lot, more than I did, shockingly, and him going through that helped teach me how to react, how to adapt, and how to move forward. So I think that's a large part of it. Being okay with change has been essential. And also my faith. I think those are the biggest parts of what's gotten me to where I am today.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

I feel like it would be something my dad said, and that would be: If you don't enjoy what you do, then why are you spending your life doing it? That advice has really stuck with me and shaped how I approach my work and life choices.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would say make sure that what you do fills your soul. That goes for all industries, it's just a good little nugget. Make sure that what you're doing fills your soul.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Honestly, I feel like the biggest challenge whenever it comes to my title is remaining authentic, because everybody likes to think of the pageant world as very polished, very put together, this is what you do, this is what you don't do. And while it's good to stick to some of those things, I feel like you lose a bit of authenticity by trying to fit into a box. That would be a big one for me, just not losing individuality.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

I would definitely say authenticity, creativity, courage, the willingness to try new things, and kindness. I feel like the world just needs kindness right now. These values guide both my professional work and personal life, and I think they're essential to making a meaningful impact.
