Her Interview

Ten minutes with Kristin

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my passion for solving problems, building meaningful relationships, and creating strong connections with others. I believe that collaboration, trust, and a commitment to finding effective solutions have been key drivers in my personal and professional growth.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I have received is to speak up and advocate for myself. At the same time, I’ve learned the importance of recognizing that success is not only defined by professional achievements but also by investing in the moments that matter personally. If you have a young child or important family commitments, it is okay to prioritize that time, use your available resources like PTO, and create balance. Career opportunities will continue to come, but the time spent with loved ones is something you cannot get back.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering my industry is to speak up. Share your ideas, advocate for yourself, and have confidence in the value you bring. Your perspective matters, and making your voice heard can open doors, build credibility, and create opportunities for growth.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in my field right now is the level of competition, which continues to push professionals to innovate and differentiate themselves. At the same time, there are significant opportunities to invest in the pipeline by developing future talent, creating pathways for growth, and strengthening the next generation of professionals entering the industry.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are family and personal well-being. I believe that maintaining strong relationships with loved ones and prioritizing my own health and balance are essential to achieving long-term success and fulfillment. These values guide how I approach my responsibilities, make decisions, and create a meaningful life both professionally and personally.
