Her Story
About Kristina
Kristina Hoban serves as an assistant facilities manager for CBRE in support of SNAP, Inc. She has spent 6 years in her field, specializing in communication, operational excellence, workplace experience, project and program management, all rooted in safety and sustainability. Her career path began with studies in dental hygiene and part-time work in a restaurant, where she developed skills in customer service, quick thinking, and creative problem solving. This experience led her to facilities management, including a prior role with JLL supporting Google, where she handled project management, daily operations, and events. After earning a Google project management certificate, she overcame multiple rejections in a competitive job market by drawing on her resilience and the advice from mentors to stay authentic and never settle. She reframed the interview process as a two-way conversation to find roles aligned with her values, ultimately landing her current position. Kristina attributes her success to her resilience and authenticity, and she advises young women entering the industry to embrace curiosity over perfection and learn from subject matter experts.
