Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to a mix of the people who support me and the mindset I try to bring to every opportunity. I’ve been lucky to have coworkers, family, and friends who believe in me — I truly think you’re only as strong as your circle. My boss, Jonathan, has trusted me to grow and take on new challenges, and both he and Larry have served as incredible mentors in different ways, offering guidance and perspective that have helped me continue to develop professionally. While my parents built the foundation in teaching me to work hard, be a problem solver and to think critically. Their encouragement, paired with my drive to keep learning, has played a huge part in shaping where I am today.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to “say yes.” It sounds simple, but that mindset has completely transformed my career. By saying yes to opportunities — even when they were outside my comfort zone or not part of my job description — I’ve gained invaluable skills, knowledge, and connections. That willingness to step up and help in any situation has made me a reliable team member and opened doors I never could have anticipated.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice is to be the “yes” person . Growth happens when you’re willing to step outside your comfort zone and take on challenges that may not fall directly under your role. Attending events, volunteering for projects, or learning new skills all build your reputation as someone dependable and driven. The more you say yes, the more opportunities you create for yourself, and the more you’ll stand out as someone who’s ready for the next step.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges and opportunities in the financial planning industry is building trust and connection in an increasingly digital world. While technology has made financial information more accessible than ever, clients still want personal relationships and guidance from someone they can trust. The opportunity lies in finding that balance; using innovation to enhance efficiency and communication while maintaining the human connection that drives long-term relationships and real impact.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

I live by the golden rule: “Treat others how you would like to be treated.” I believe the energy you put out is the energy you receive. Approaching every interaction with kindness, respect, and positivity not only creates a better work environment but also builds stronger, more genuine relationships in every aspect of life.
