I have an industry agnostic background spanning over 20 years as a business owner and consultant. I started as a sole proprietor and grew my business into a multi-inspector commercial and residential inspection firm. As my reputation grew, other inspectors from around the country began reaching out to me to learn how I built my business, which I was able to spin into consulting and coaching services starting in 2013. A significant milestone was when Lowe's reached out to me as a consultant to determine whether they could develop a scalable home inspection service offering within their scope of vendor referrals. My consulting business ran parallel with my inspection business, and because the inspection industry in real estate construction is cyclical, I would strategically offer more coaching services and schedule consulting assignments during slower times, like winter months. I'm currently continuing my consulting work through KLM Management Consulting Services while seeking a full-time employment position.
