Kristine Rea
Kristine Rea is a partner and co-owner of Rea Ripley Law, LLC, a boutique family law firm with offices in Towson and Bel Air, Maryland. With more than two decades of legal experience, she concentrates her practice on family law litigation and appeals, representing clients in complex divorce, child custody, and related domestic matters. Kristine is known for her strategic advocacy, meticulous attention to detail, and unwavering commitment to guiding clients through some of the most personal and challenging periods of their lives.
Prior to co-founding Rea Ripley Law, Kristine spent more than twelve years with a national family law firm, where she served as Senior Regional Managing Attorney and Litigation Manager. In that role, she led teams of attorneys and managed high-stakes litigation matters throughout the region. Earlier in her career, she practiced at a small firm in Howard County, Maryland, where she developed a strong foundation in civil and family law.
Kristine earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law, where she served as Production Editor for Law Forum. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Public Relations from the University of Maryland.
An active member of the Maryland legal community, Kristine frequently presents on precedent-setting family law cases and developments in the field. Her work has been recognized by her peers, including being named to the 2025 and 2026 Maryland Super Lawyers lists.
Outside of her practice, Kristine places a high value on family and enjoys spending time with her husband, their three children, and their dog. She balances a demanding legal career with an active family life and can often be found cheering on her children from the sidelines or spending time with her family at their home on the Jersey Shore.
