Kristine Rea
Kristine Rea is a partner and owner at Rea Ripley Law, LLC, a boutique family law firm with offices in Towson and Annapolis, Maryland. With a legal career spanning nearly two decades, she focuses her practice on family law litigation and appeals, representing clients in complex divorce, child custody, and related domestic matters. Kristine is known for her strategic advocacy, attention to detail, and commitment to guiding clients through some of the most personal and challenging periods of their lives.
Prior to co-founding Rea Ripley Law, Kristine spent over twelve years at Cordell & Cordell, where she served as Senior Regional Managing Attorney and Litigation Manager, leading teams and handling high-stakes litigation across the region. Earlier in her career, she practiced at the Law Office of Harry B. Siegel, LLC, building a strong foundation in civil and family law. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law, where she served as Production Editor for Law Forum, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Public Relations from the University of Maryland.
Kristine is an active member of the Maryland legal community and frequently presents on precedent-setting family law cases, including landmark decisions shaping the disposition of embryos in divorce. Her work has been recognized by her peers, including being named to the 2026 Maryland Super Lawyers list for the second consecutive year. Outside of her practice, Kristine values family deeply and enjoys spending time with her husband, their three children, and their dog, balancing a demanding legal career with an active and fulfilling personal life.
