Based in Arizona, she brings decades of experience in real estate, property development, business management, and interior design to her work. After graduating from high school early and attending college on scholarships, Kristine studied business management and business law, obtained her real estate license, and completed her interior design education by age 24. Her diverse professional background includes managing real estate operations, directing marketing initiatives, overseeing property projects, and developing creative solutions for residential and commercial spaces.
Since establishing The Luxury Look in 2013, Kristine has focused on creating thoughtfully designed environments that combine beauty, functionality, and a welcoming atmosphere. Her work encompasses luxury homes, property staging, investment properties, Airbnb design, hospitality spaces, and international projects, including collaborations in the Caribbean and England. She also contributes to initiatives such as the Love Tower project in Puerto Rico, envisioned as a wellness retreat and sanctuary. In addition to her design work, Kristine provides training and business coaching for interior designers, home stagers, and real estate professionals through workshops, buying trips, and business development programs. Her contributions to the industry have earned recognition, including awards for design and staging, and she has contributed to several books and publishing projects. Ten minutes with Kristine
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to perseverance, hard work, and tenacity. I remain committed to my goals, overcome challenges, and continue pushing forward with determination.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve received is that if others are holding me back from progressing, it’s time to make a change. Stepping away from real estate brokerage allowed me to focus on growing my own company and making independent decisions without interference from other owners.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I encourage young women to learn how to manage things independently before entering a partnership. Do your homework and thoroughly understand who you are going into business with before making commitments. Most importantly, recognize your strength and believe in yourself, because women are stronger than they often realize.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
I see exciting opportunities in relaunching buying trips, offering the Design Business Masterclass for designers and stagers, and developing a customer experience course. However, tariffs, shipping delays, and supply chain disruptions remain significant challenges that could affect the industry.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I value listening deeply to my clients to understand their needs and deliver results that meet their expectations. I strive to be a calm, reassuring presence during stressful design and construction projects. In my personal life, I prioritize intentional family time, making every interaction meaningful and ensuring my loved ones always feel welcomed and appreciated.
