Kristy Smith

Kristy Smith serves as Founder and stakeholder manager of a Private Stakeholder Firm in Round Rock, TX. For the past 10 years, she has focused on developing leadership and stewardship in single mother households while partnering with institutions and banks to advance economic development initiatives for single moms. Her day-to-day work includes calls, meetings, community fieldwork, and helping single mothers identify and close gaps in their homes and careers. Previously, she worked as a chef after earning her culinary certification, gaining experience in high-volume restaurants including the Austin Convention Center and Michelin-starred establishments in Mississippi. These roles helped shape her ability to handle high-pressure, male-dominated environments. Her passion for supporting single mothers began in her teens, leading her to transition her culinary skills into this framework. She is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in social enterprise and Economic Development Strategy with the goal of serving on boards and in thought leadership rooms to influence decisions affecting communities and cities.
