About Kritika
Kritika Singh began her career in the CPG and retail media industry in 2015. During college, while interning at a top 5 accounting firm, she realized accounting was not her path and instead pursued business at the intersection of psychology, creativity, and data. This led her to specialize in advertising, retail media, and brand strategy for CPGs, with experience across sales, digital, social, and omnichannel marketing. She attributes her success to the belief and support of her parents and friends, which builds her confidence, as well as her commitment to putting in full time and effort, reviewing her strategies and philosophies to ensure everything she does is 100 percent aligned. Kritika advises young women entering the industry to never limit themselves, explore different pathways without being linear, and become the go-to expert on ad tech offerings and their AI, LLM, and ML capabilities, as these represent the future.
Her Interview
Ten minutes with Kritika
01What do you attribute your success to?
It would be two things. First, the people in my life, my parents and friends, they always believe in me and think I can do more than where I am, which helps build my confidence. Second, I put in the work and time and effort. I review my strategies and philosophies. I don't like to do anything half. I love to put in the actual work and fully confirm and believe that what I'm putting forth is 100% aligned.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Never limit yourself. If you think even a role or the objective of a project is not aligned with yourself, because when you're very new, this is a time to explore and understand any different pathways that you may not even know at this moment but you can excel in, so just don't be linear. The biggest thing right now is truly trying to understand different ad tech offerings and their AI, LLM, ML capabilities, and how you can be the go-to for this understanding into your company, because that is the future. Don't be scared because marketing and AI is not taking our jobs. It takes the aggregate of what it knows on the web, but it's up to you to decipher the data, tell if the data is clean, and how to pinpoint strategy.
