Her Interview
Ten minutes with Krystal
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the strong foundation of faith, family, and the support system I am blessed to have around me. My husband has been incredibly supportive and encouraging throughout my journey, and as a Christian family, we rely on prayer, trust in God’s guidance, and the belief that we can leave our challenges at the altar. I am also grateful to have a supportive leader at Manpower who has encouraged my growth and provided an environment where I can continue to learn, contribute, and succeed.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I have ever received is that it is never too late to to become who you want to be. After investing many years at Lowe’s, making a career transition was both challenging and intimidating, but I trusted myself, embraced the opportunity for growth, and successfully made the change. This experience taught me the importance of being open to new possibilities, having the courage to take risks, and believing that personal and professional growth can happen at any stage of life.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the industry is to believe in themselves and never let anyone convince them that they are incapable of achieving their goals. Show up with confidence, embrace challenges, and prove what you are capable of excelling. Do not be afraid to ask questions, seek guidance, and learn from others. Continuous growth, curiosity, and a commitment to learning are essential for building a successful and fulfilling career.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in my field right now is the increasing competition among staffing agencies and the need to differentiate ourselves by providing exceptional service and value. At the same time, there are significant opportunities to build meaningful relationships with new decision-makers, including business owners and HR leaders. By developing trust, understanding their unique needs, and delivering tailored workforce solutions, we can create long-term partnerships and continue to grow.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are authenticity, honesty, and building meaningful relationships. I believe in staying true to myself, taking the time to genuinely get to know people, and creating connections built on trust, professionalism and respect. I strive to be upfront and transparent in all that I do, while following the principle of under-promising and over-delivering to ensure I consistently exceed expectations. Maintaining reliability, consistency, and integrity are values that guide the way I approach my relationships, my career, and every opportunity I encounter.
