About Ksenia
Ksenia Kouchnirenko is a global technology executive with more than 20 years of experience leading strategy, operations, marketing, data, and technology initiatives for high-growth organizations. Most recently, as Vice President of Enterprise Operations & Technology at Verkada, she oversaw global enterprise operations, business systems, security, and technology strategy, helping organizations scale through operational excellence, automation, artificial intelligence, and data-driven decision-making. Throughout her career, she has built and led high-performing cross-functional teams while driving innovation, operational efficiency, and sustainable business growth. Prior to joining Verkada, Kouchnirenko held executive leadership roles at SurveyMonkey, where she spearheaded enterprise automation, business systems, security, and international strategy initiatives that generated millions of dollars in savings, accelerated revenue growth, and strengthened global operations. Earlier in her career, she led monetization and partnership strategy at Mint and Intuit, helping build new revenue streams and scale products during periods of rapid expansion. She also contributed to mergers and acquisitions, corporate development, and IPO initiatives at QuinStreet and William Blair & Company. A graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, she has earned recognition as one of the Top 50 Female Leaders of San Francisco for her leadership and impact in the technology industry. Kouchnirenko attributes her success to a lifelong passion for solving complex problems, building collaborative teams, and fostering a "one team" mindset that empowers organizations to achieve more together. 01What do you attribute your success to?
I would attribute perseverance, natural curiosity, and passion for problem solving - especially creative problem solving - to helping me navigate my career. I enjoy being able to bring and create value, learn new things, connect the dots across industries and experiences, to solve problems, and to unite the teams. I always preach a one-team mindset because we don't ever win by ourselves, we only win together.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
When offered an opportunity to take on a "boring project" don't shy away from it. It's one you learn the most in. Oftentimes whether it's entity structures or putting in tax infrastructure, people are like "oh I don't want to do that as it sounds really boring". But with those projects, you understand the underbellies of so many companies, strategies, and growth initiatives. You connect with many cross-functional teams from legal to finance to product and engineering while transforming something foundational to the organization. That's where you really start to develop breadth and depth and deliver exponential value.
