Her Story

About Kylie

I am an insurance executive with 20 years of experience in the health insurance field, currently serving as Chief Commercial Officer at Chiro Health. I work in the ICHRA space, where my responsibilities include operations, growth, and sales strategy. Under me are the operations and go-to-market strategies for Chiro Health. I've been in this type of executive role for the past 10 years, though I just started with this company about 8 months ago. What drew me to this field very early in my career was recognizing how important health insurance is in most people's lives, and it's one of those things that they don't think about until it's needed. Making sure that people have great benefits and education about how to use insurance, educating them just in healthcare in general, is so valuable to me.

Ten minutes with Kylie

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to great teams and great mentors. You know, people who are like-minded and have supported me along the way. I've been fortunate to have mentors like Craig Domoraki, Tanguan Moss, and Amy Knapp who have guided me throughout my career.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would tell women entering this field to take their seat at the table. You know, it's available, and a lot of us don't think that it is. Our voices are important, and so we need to make sure that they're heard, and get involved, and don't wait for other people to bring you in.

03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenges in my field are ongoing regulation changes and lack of education, just in general. As for opportunities, the world is changing so much through technology, and that can really be very beneficial in helping both insurance brokers and members in understanding and utilizing their benefits.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Integrity is the most important value to me in both my work and personal life.
