Her Interview

Ten minutes with Kyra

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to resilience, self-belief, and a deep commitment to serving others. By staying grounded in my values and leading with compassion, I have learned to turn challenges into purpose. I credit consistency, courage, and the willingness to keep learning and evolving as the foundation of everything I have built.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The most impactful advice I received was to keep going, even when the path feels uncertain. I believe consistency, patience, and faith in the process matter more than any single achievement.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice for young women entering the fitness industry is to lead with integrity and compassion rather than comparison. I encourage them to build skills, protect their boundaries, and remember that their value is not defined by appearance or social media metrics. Stay committed to learning and serve clients with authenticity and you will be successful.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

From my perspective, one of the biggest challenges in the fitness industry right now is balancing innovation with accessibility. While technology and online platforms have expanded reach, many people still feel excluded due to cost, intimidation, or unrealistic expectations. However, this challenge also presents a powerful opportunity. The growing shift toward holistic wellness, recovery-informed coaching, and inclusive programming allows fitness professionals to serve people more authentically. By prioritizing compassion, flexibility, and individualized support, the industry has the opportunity to redefine success and create sustainable, life-changing wellness for a broader community.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

At the core of my professional and personal life are integrity, compassion, and accessibility. I value honesty in growth, consistency in action, and meeting people with empathy rather than judgment. Whether coaching clients or navigating my own journey, I believe in leading with humility, honoring boundaries, and creating spaces where people feel supported, capable, and empowered to evolve at their own pace.
