About Kyra

She is a dedicated instructional technologist and educator with over seven years of experience in K-12 education, instructional technology integration, and professional development, currently serving as Instructional Technologist II at Saint Louis Public Schools. In this role, she designs and facilitates professional development for educators and district staff on instructional technology, data systems, and emerging technologies, develops training materials and instructional resources, collaborates with school leaders to support technology implementation, and researches emerging tools to promote innovation and continuous improvement. Prior to this role, she served as a Teacher at Saint Louis Public Schools for nearly six years, where she designed project-based learning experiences, integrated coding, robotics, and digital learning tools, analyzed student data, and developed curriculum for diverse learners. She also served as an ESOL Summer Instructor and as a Resident Assistant at Missouri Western State University. She holds a Master's degree in Education and Teaching of the Gifted and Talented from Lindenwood University and a degree from Missouri Western State University. She is recognized as a passionate, innovative, and student-centered educator who is deeply committed to empowering teachers, integrating technology meaningfully, and fostering engaging, equitable learning environments for all students.
