About laasya
Laasya Pandari is a student who has been exploring technology and finance for two to three years through various internships, taking a hands-on approach rather than a traditional path. Her experience includes an eighth-grade summer UX project at UnitedHealth Group focused on improving tone in text messaging, a tenth-grade summer role as a business analyst and pilot tester at Land O'Lakes where she performed QA work, data comparison, and analysis using Power BI, SQL, and Agile while collaborating with stakeholders, and current summer positions as a quant researcher at Factor Lab researching content for a book on investing in the U.S. stock market as well as a finance intern at a Chicago consulting company handling QuickBooks and account analysis. She is motivated by the goal of providing exposure to technology for other girls who lack it, drawing from her own early interest sparked by a third-grade lesson on the stock market and subsequent involvement in mock competitions, Code.org, and Girls Who Code. Laasya also serves as a student representative on the District Budget Advisory Council and volunteers with The Gift of Adoption, contributing to efforts that raised seventy thousand dollars for the Minnesota chapter.
