Her Story
About lacey
I've spent the last 10 years in the healthcare industry, all with the same company, and I've really enjoyed learning different roles across multiple departments. I started out as a technician where I was traveling for the company, then moved into logistics, then supply chain, and now I'm in the accounting department where I focus on collections. My typical day involves reaching out to customers to acquire payments, reviewing their accounts to see what's past due or if payments were misapplied, processing checks when they come in, and matching invoices for items we receive from vendors. One of my proudest achievements was working with one of our clients for an entire year, reaching out daily and collaborating with them until we finally collected several hundred thousand dollars in payments. I knew I wanted something health-related and something where I was going to contribute to helping people, which is what inspired me to get into this field.
