LaConda Mack is a dedicated professional with over six years of experience in the healthcare technology field, currently serving as a Professional Services Coordinator at CitusHealth by ResMed. In her role, she helps home care and hospice providers streamline workflows by securely delivering and submitting various patient forms directly to mobile devices, integrating seamlessly with electronic health record systems. She also provides technical support, quality assurance, and utilizes Smartsheet, Salesforce, and WorkApps to assist in optimizing project and data management for customer implementation. LaConda is passionate about aiding her employer in digital solutions to improve the customer experience and drive efficiency in healthcare operations. In addition to her professional work, LaConda is an accomplished co-author of the upcoming book anthology series "Yet She Persisted", which highlights stories of resilience and perseverance. She is also the president of the nonprofit Community Awareness Initiative, a role she has held since September 2025, where she organizes events and programs aimed at empowering her local community through education, financial literacy, and access to resources. What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the scripture that says "whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord". I understand that my gift of helping others is truly a gift from God. So, I try my best to do everything in excellence, care and compassion. for my customers.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is to advocate for myself and speak up when I’m ready to grow. By clearly communicating my goals and ambitions to leadership.to position myself to receive the opportunities, resources, and tools needed to be successful.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to the next generation is to give yourself grace while learning a new career path. Believe in your ability to be strectched beyond your comfort zone. There is more in you than you realize, but you won’t discover it unless you allow yourself to be challenged.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges—and opportunities—in my field right now is keeping up with rapidly evolving technology to better serve clients and improve healthcare workflows with the advancement in AI. .
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me in my work and personal life are my faith in God, my family and helping my community, and the importance of teamwork and hard work. In my free time, I enjoy reading, journaling, and taking peaceful walks on the beach.
