LaCrecia Day, MBA, BA is a seasoned nonprofit and mental health professional with extensive experience in program development, financial management, and organizational leadership. Currently serving as Program Director, a role she has held for the past two years, LaCrecia has established a culture of care that prioritizes staff well-being and engagement. She leads with empathy and compassion, regularly checking in with her team and ensuring that employees experiencing stress or low morale are supported, including allowing mental breaks when needed. As the owner of LRDay LLC, LaCrecia provides expert consulting in grant writing, program start-up and implementation, financial and programmatic reporting, and nonprofit management. With a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Finance from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, she combines strategic financial insight with operational expertise to guide organizations toward sustainable growth and meaningful impact. Her background also includes serving as Chief Financial Officer and Financial/Development Officer at IMPACT Family Counseling, where she oversaw program evaluation, financial oversight, and strategic planning initiatives.
