Lacrecia Terrance, Ph.D., is a dynamic educational strategist and innovation leader with over 20 years of experience transforming learning environments for students of all backgrounds. Throughout her career, she has held pivotal roles ranging from STEM and Innovation Director to Curriculum and Title I Coordinator, culminating in her current work as an Educational Consultant. Lacrecia is passionate about equitable education, ensuring that every student has access to high-quality instruction that prepares them for college, careers, and life beyond the classroom. Among her many accomplishments, she successfully led a school transformation from an 'F' to a 'B' rating, leveraging Project-Based Learning (PBL) to drive meaningful academic growth, particularly for students from underserved communities.

As the Founder and Chief Visionary Officer of theEduProject, Lacrecia has dedicated herself to curriculum development, professional development, and strategic planning that enhance student engagement and achievement. She has also led high-impact initiatives as Director of District Engagement at PBLWorks, helping school leaders implement Gold Standard PBL at a systemic level. Her work combines research, innovation, and hands-on strategies, equipping educators with the tools they need to foster deeper learning and student success across diverse educational settings.

Beyond her professional achievements, Lacrecia is deeply committed to advocacy, mentorship, and community engagement. The opportunities in my field are limitless, but one of the biggest challenges is navigating leadership as a woman in an executive position.

The values most important to me are love, trust, and service. Loving others inspires care and compassion, rebuilding trust strengthens relationships, and serving my community allows me to make a meaningful impact through hands-on projects.
