Lana Walker

Lana Walker is a Marketing and PR Communications Professionalist based in Beverly Hills, California. She began her career in 1990 and has spent the past 35 years working as a publicist in entertainment marketing and public relations. Growing up in Los Angeles, Walker attended Page School and Bel Air Prep before studying at Tulane and taking classes at Santa Monica College. Her professional path included roles in management with Norman Nixon and later publicity work at record labels such as Motown Records and Arista Records, where she handled campaigns for artists including Whitney Houston, Alan Jackson, Sarah McLachlan, TLC, and others. Walker has also worked in television and film, volunteered with AIDS Project Los Angeles since her youth, and currently serves as a foster dog parent with Hands on Paws. She maintains active involvement with the African American Film Critics Association, Hollywood Creative Alliance, Geena Davis Institute, Women of Color United, Icon Man, and Claire Foundation.
