Lareina Liona is a technology professional, entrepreneur, and brand engagement strategist whose passion for innovation began at an early age. Fascinated by cameras, computers, and electronics as a child, she quickly developed a deep curiosity for how technology worked and how it could be used to create, communicate, and solve problems. That passion led her to study engineering, computer programming, and information technology, eventually launching her career through internships and hands-on work at computer repair shops before officially entering the tech industry in 2012. Today, Lareina serves as a Service Delivery Manager at BlueAngle, LLC
, where she bridges the gap between technical teams and clients by managing relationships, negotiating contracts, developing customized solutions, and ensuring exceptional service delivery.

In addition to her corporate leadership role, Lareina is the President of PK Liona, Inc.
and Chairwoman of Lareina Liona LLC
, where she combines her expertise in branding, media, and technology to help businesses strengthen audience engagement and visibility. Her work spans photography, videography, public relations, marketing, and digital media strategy, allowing her to build creative campaigns that connect with diverse audiences. She has also hosted a YouTube show since 2012 and has spent more than a decade developing media-focused initiatives that reflect her passion for storytelling and innovation. Lareina credits much of her success to her ability to merge business strategy with technical expertise, enabling her to automate processes, implement scalable systems, and create sustainable growth opportunities across multiple ventures.

A graduate of Nova Southeastern University and Colorado Technical University, Lareina continues to expand her influence through leadership, mentorship, and community engagement. She is affiliated with organizations such as Alpha Kappa Psi and was recognized as an Honored Listee by Marquis Who's Who in 2024. Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I think the key to my success has been tunnel vision - staying laser-focused on my goals even when I had no idea how I was going to get there. There have been so many instances where I had to stop myself and look around to see how far I'd actually gotten, because when you're fully immersed and doing it, you're like 'I haven't made it to the destination yet, I have to work harder, I haven't gotten there yet.' But I had to learn to pat myself on the back and be like, oh my gosh, if me from 5 years ago could see me now, I'd be really impressed with myself. The challenge is that because I got to see every step of the way getting here, I'm like 'yeah, that's great, I'm glad I finally got to this point, but we still have more work to do.' I had to start stopping myself and saying no, enjoy this, because today is going to end up being a memory and you're going to look back and be like 'I should have taken more time to enjoy it.' There have been several times where I was absolutely ready to throw in the towel - not just in my career, not just in motherhood, but in life in general. I was just ready to give up. But I'm so glad that I didn't, I'm so glad that I was able to make it beyond that, because when you have tunnel vision, you have to see the light at the end of that tunnel, and it's always there. Sometimes you feel like it's so far away and you're in the dark and you don't know if you're going in the right direction, but it's a tunnel - a tunnel can only go one way. You can either go forward or you can go backwards, and going backwards is never an option.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would tell them the same thing I would tell my younger self: know why you're here and why you're doing this. Don't forget your why. If you lose sight of your why, everything falls apart and it unravels and you don't understand what you're doing. Don't forget the plot - always remember the plot and remember why you're doing it and where you're going. But while you're taking time, enjoy the journey, because it's not about the destination. We get so hyper-fixated on the destination that we forget to enjoy the journey. It's going to have its ups, it's going to have its downs, and there's going to be times where you're absolutely ready to throw in the towel. There have been several times where I was ready to give up in every regard - not just in my career, not just in motherhood, but in life in general. But I'm so glad that I didn't, I'm so glad that I was able to make it beyond that. When you have tunnel vision, you have to see the light at the end of that tunnel, because it's always there. Sometimes you feel like it's so far away and you're in the dark and you don't know if you're going in the right direction, but it's a tunnel - a tunnel can only go one way. You can either go forward or you can go backwards, and going backwards is never an option. So just enjoy the journey. Turn on a flashlight, look around - you might find something interesting. It might be dark, but hey, you might find something along the way.
