About LaReine

LaReine Chabut is the Founder and CEO of Momgevity, Inc., a women’s wellness and community brand dedicated to helping women prioritize their physical, mental, and emotional well-being. A bestselling author, on-camera host, model, spokesperson, and longtime wellness expert, LaReine has built her career around making health and lifestyle information approachable and actionable. She launched Momgevity in 2018 as a series of wellness getaways focused on movement, nutrition, beauty, mindset, and meaningful connection.

Under LaReine’s leadership, Momgevity has evolved into a national digital wellness community offering expert-led conversations, educational resources, movement programming, member check-ins, newsletters, and wellness partnerships. She has also hosted wellness programming for MSN, reaching a multi-million-person audience, and has developed content addressing issues including midlife health, perimenopause, menopause, metabolic health, nutrition, stress, strength, and longevity. Her work also incorporates philanthropy through support for women’s health and related charitable causes.

Following the 2025 Palisades fire, which displaced her family and disrupted her business operations, LaReine accelerated Momgevity’s transition from primarily in-person experiences to a scalable digital platform. Today, she is focused on expanding Momgevity’s national membership and corporate wellness initiatives while preserving the community-centered mission at the heart of the brand. Her leadership is grounded in adaptability, credibility, collaboration, and a commitment to helping women feel informed, supported, and connected throughout every stage of life.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with LaReine

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to staying adaptable, listening closely to what women need, and remaining committed to my purpose. I have learned to embrace change, build meaningful relationships, surround myself with knowledgeable people, and use challenges as opportunities to grow. Most importantly, I stay connected to the mission behind my work: helping women feel healthier, more informed, supported, and connected.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve received is to start before everything feels perfect and not wait for permission. Listen to your audience, trust your instincts, build strong relationships, and be willing to evolve as you learn. Changing your strategy does not mean giving up on your vision; sometimes, adapting is what allows that vision to grow.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would encourage young women to trust their instincts, stay curious, and never be afraid to take up space. Build genuine relationships, learn from qualified experts, and focus on providing real value rather than following every trend. Your career may take unexpected turns, so stay open to new opportunities, keep evolving, and remain true to the purpose behind your work.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest opportunities in women’s wellness is the growing focus on midlife health, including perimenopause, menopause, metabolic health, strength, longevity, and mental well-being. At the same time, women are overwhelmed by conflicting information and wellness trends, making credibility and trusted education more important than ever. I see an opportunity to use digital platforms, expert-led content, and community to make reliable wellness information more accessible, practical, and personalized.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me are authenticity, integrity, connection, kindness, and resilience. I believe in treating people with respect, following through on commitments, and creating meaningful relationships. I also value curiosity and adaptability, because growth requires being willing to learn, evolve, and embrace change while staying true to what matters most.
