Q

What do you attribute your success to?

My success is the result of perseverance, continuous learning, and a steadfast dedication to leadership and growth. As a multi-year panelist for the NJBIA Women Business Leadership Forum and the Jersey Shore Women’s Conference, I’ve had the privilege of exchanging ideas with other visionary leaders who inspire progress and purpose. I view success as a collective journey—one shaped by mentorship, collaboration, and courage to evolve. Currently completing my MBA at the University of Phoenix (graduating early next year), I continue to build on my Rutgers education with a focus on empowering others, driving impact, and leading with authenticity and integrity.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The most impactful career advice I’ve received is to “fake it until you make it.” For me, that phrase is less about imitation and more about courage—approaching the unknown with confidence, curiosity, and a willingness to grow. It’s a reminder that readiness often follows action. This perspective has shaped how I lead, learn, and evolve—encouraging resilience, poise, and a belief in my ability to rise to any challenge.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

The advice I would give to young women entering my industry is to cultivate confidence and resilience. Confidence allows you to advocate for yourself, embrace opportunities, and step boldly into leadership roles, even when faced with uncertainty. Resilience enables you to navigate challenges, adapt to change, and persevere through setbacks while maintaining focus on your long-term goals. Together, these qualities create a strong foundation for professional growth, empowering young women to not only succeed but also to lead with impact and integrity.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the greatest challenges—and opportunities—in my field today is learning to delegate effectively and fully trust my team. True delegation goes beyond assigning tasks; it’s about empowering others, leveraging their unique strengths, and fostering collaboration. By trusting my team, I create space for innovation, efficiency, and shared growth while focusing on strategic priorities. Embracing this process continues to strengthen my leadership, build confidence within my team, and drive long-term success.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

My guiding values—family, hard work, and networking—shape who I am in every aspect of life. Family gives me balance and perspective, reminding me of why I do what I do. Hard work reflects my belief in perseverance and showing up with excellence every day. And networking is about more than exchanging cards; it’s about building genuine relationships that inspire growth and shared success. These values are the compass behind both my personal and professional journey.
