LaSandra Herron

LaSandra Herron is a highly motivated and detail-oriented administrative and project management professional with over a decade of experience spanning multiple industries. She currently serves as Senior Project Coordinator at HBK Engineering, LLC, where she manages projects from concept to completion, overseeing planning, permitting, engineering coordination, procurement, construction management, and project close-out. Known for her ability to lead diverse teams, she inspires optimal performance by fostering collaboration, clear communication, and a solutions-driven approach to complex challenges.

Before joining HBK Engineering, LaSandra honed her administrative and contract management skills through roles at GSG Consultants, Inc., the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority, and in healthcare and staffing coordination positions. Her career journey began after a Blue Cross Blue Shield executive recognized her potential, encouraging her to transition into project management—a field in which she quickly excelled despite her non-technical background. Throughout her career, she has been recognized for her ability to keep projects on schedule, on budget, and aligned with strategic objectives, earning the trust of employers and colleagues alike.

LaSandra holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Business Administration and Management with a focus on Project Management from American InterContinental University. She is actively involved in professional networks including the Women’s Energy Network and a Black Employee Network, underscoring her commitment to mentorship and community. She is also pursuing a doctorate in divinity with a focus on biblical studies, aiming to start in 2026. Outside of work, she enjoys Cajun and Creole cuisine and prioritizes work-life balance, striving to make meaningful contributions both professionally and personally.
