LaShonda Moore is a healthcare benefits and business operations professional with nearly 10 to 12 years of experience in the healthcare industry. She currently serves as an Account Executive, with prior roles including customer service, medical claims, operations business analyst, account specialist, and client resolution specialist. Her passion for the field stems from helping her grandmother navigate insurance challenges, which inspired her commitment to assisting others in solving problems. She received a Courageous Award as part of the Pillar Awards for her leadership on a company project. LaShonda is actively involved in advocacy and education initiatives through Fotoro San Antonio, Change Collective, LEA, and IDEA Public Schools, where she serves on the advisory council. She is an alumna of the Jack Welch Management Institute and emphasizes the importance of a strong professional foundation for growth.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Make sure wherever you go, whatever job you have or wherever you partner with, they have a good foundation, because your foundation helps you build and continue to grow as an individual and also with the team. Make sure your foundation is solid.
