Her Interview

Ten minutes with Latasha

01What do you attribute your success to?

Honestly, I would say my son. I've dealt with some struggles that I never want my child to experience. My mom had me when she was young and didn't finish high school, and my granny always told me she wanted me to be better than her and go farther. I'm the first in my family to have a master's degree. I was determined no matter what to finish my degree and make them proud. Education was crucial to provide for my family.

02What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

I value community and being connected. I'm very determined and self-made. I value integrity because I go above and beyond to do my absolute best. I'm the first in my family with higher education and want to inspire others.
