Her Interview

Ten minutes with LaTasha

01What do you attribute your success to?

For over two decades, I have built my career across healthcare, beginning at the bedside as a nurse and advancing into leadership roles in behavioral health, hospitals, and in-home care. My success is rooted in recognizing the critical role electronic health systems play in improving patient outcomes and using that insight to guide meaningful clinical and operational transformation. At Four Global, I lead strategy and innovation with a people-first approach, focusing not on a single achievement but on helping organizations navigate change without losing sight of the human element. I encourage emerging professionals to find what truly aligns with their purpose, seek strong mentorship, and stay grounded in humanity—especially as AI becomes more integrated into healthcare.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

If you are just starting out in healthcare, I would encourage you to take the time to truly understand what you enjoy and where your strengths are, rather than assuming you must follow a specific path right away. Healthcare offers so many different roles and opportunities, so exploring different areas can help you find the best fit for your skills and interests. I also strongly believe in the importance of mentorship. A good mentor can help you develop your interests, guide your growth, and also help you quickly identify what may not be the right fit—so you can get on the path that aligns with you much sooner.

03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest opportunities—and challenges—in my field right now is the integration of AI across healthcare. My focus is ensuring we remain the true “human in the loop,” keeping human judgment, empathy, and accountability at the center of care. AI has tremendous potential to enhance efficiency and improve outcomes, but it must be used responsibly, like an intern that supports and strengthens the work rather than replaces decision-making. Ultimately, we are the drivers of these tools, and our responsibility is to use them thoughtfully and effectively while never losing sight of the human element in healthcare.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are keeping people and outcomes at the center of everything I do, using technology—especially AI—responsibly and thoughtfully, and prioritizing education and mentorship to support the growth of others. I am also deeply committed to transforming information into meaningful, actionable insight for those who need it most, ensuring that innovation ultimately serves and uplifts people.
