About LaTasha

I am the Founder and CEO of Dream BIG Community Resource Center, where I work to connect individuals and families with the tools, support, and opportunities they need to thrive. My mission is simple: empower communities, reduce barriers, and create pathways toward stability and success. Through resource navigation, advocacy, and outreach programs, I strive to make a lasting difference in the lives of the people I serve.

Before launching my nonprofit, I spent several years working in human services with the State of North Carolina and Guilford County, supporting families through case management, economic services, and compliance quality assurance. In these roles, I developed expertise in SNAP case review, Salesforce case tracking, and program compliance while helping clients navigate complex systems with compassion and professionalism.

Earlier in my career, I built strong problem-solving and customer service skills at Sears Holdings, resolving member concerns and managing corporate projects under tight deadlines. I hold an Associate’s degree in Medical Office Administration from Guilford Technical Community College and certifications including Lean Six Sigma White Belt and Certified SNAP Case Reviewer.

I am passionate about community empowerment, continuous learning, and building programs that create real, lasting change. My goal is to keep expanding Dream BIG’s impact while helping individuals and families reach their full potential.
