Her Interview

Ten minutes with Lataysha

01What do you attribute your success to?

To show my daughter that anything is possible. If you put your mind to it, you can really achieve it. There's no limit to anything.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Always be teachable. Always be ready to learn.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Be themselves, and don't let minor inconveniences steer them away from what they have a passion for or the trendiest things going on. Always stick to what you know. And be teachable.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in my field is that no two days are the same, so you have to be able to adapt quickly. Every child, family, and situation can be different. I see that as an opportunity too because it pushes me to learn, problem-solve, and grow. I also think there are opportunities to use new ideas and technology to make our work more efficient while still keeping the personal connection that people need.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Honesty and integrity. Being innovative.
