About Latisha

Latisha Cross serves as Director of Commercialization for Inorganic and M&A at Haleon in Warren, New Jersey. She began her career with nine years in advertising agencies focused on integrated marketing for CPG categories before transitioning in 2012 to brand management at GSK, now Haleon. Over the subsequent years, Cross led brands in oral care, respiratory, and digestive health, including Flonase, where she orchestrated a notable Bridgerton-themed co-creation campaign that earned multiple awards and significant earned media. She also contributed to learning and development initiatives post-merger, directed marketing for sports nutrition brands, and led a repeatable growth model team acting as internal consultants for North America. In her current role since February, she assesses growth opportunities and M&A targets, drawing on her commercial acumen and strategic framework expertise. Cross advises aspiring women in the field to remain curious, focus on delivering strong work, and intentionally seek mentors and sponsors.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would say be curious. Continue to always ask questions and try to uncover more, and not to stop being curious about the things that you're working in. The second piece of advice I would give is to focus on yourself and delivering what needs to be done. Your work will speak for itself. The third thing is be more intentional about seeking supporters for your career, whether that is a formal mentor or people that are sponsors that can be a voice for you in the room when you're not in the room.
